We believe that you are the expert on your own life, and our role is to provide clinical expertise, thoughtful guidance, and genuine compassion as we partner with you on your therapy journey. Our practice is trauma-informed and grounded in an integrative approach, allowing therapy to be tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experience. While we draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy, our primary training is in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic practices. These approaches engage both awareness and the nervous system to address the root causes of distress - not just manage symptoms - supporting deeper healing, lasting relief, and meaningful change.
We treat adolescent girls and adult women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, eating disorders, or any concerns they want to discuss in a safe and supportive environment. Many of our clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns of indecision, or burdened by challenges that make it difficult to move forward with confidence and clarity. Therapy helps our clients get relief from symptoms, build resilience, make meaningful change, and strengthen their connection with themselves and others.
We also work with professionals in leadership roles to strengthen self-awareness and improve communication, leading to healthier relationships, more confident decision-making, strong teams, and a more grounded, authentic leadership presence.
The length and frequency of treatment is highly individualized and depends on many factors. Some clients may only need a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing work. We will discuss this in the initial session and regularly evaluate progress, working together as long as you feel is beneficial.
Compass Counseling Services, LLC, is an out-of-network provider. You may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance company with out-of-network benefits. A monthly superbill will be provided upon request.
Getting started with therapy begins with an intake phone call to discuss your concerns and see if we may be the right fit. Once your appointment is scheduled, you will complete intake paperwork through the patient portal. The initial appointment will focus on obtaining a history, identifying current concerns, and discussing treatment options. If therapy is recommended, ongoing sessions will be scheduled to ensure you have consistency and scheduling that works for you.
